Need People Skills in Your Residual Income Opportunity?

One of the main questions I get when giving tips for starting a new business is: Do you need people skills in order to be successful in a residual income opportunity? A lot of people are attracted to an internet business because they can "hide behind" a computer.  In order to be successful, you have to first sell yourself as a leader.  It takes as much work to sell a $1 product than it does a $10,000 product.  Therefore, in order to create a $100,000 commitment, you need to create a $100,000 relationship. So... the real question is.... What can you do to be liked? friendship-2Simple, right? Be nice, cheerful, friendly. Remember people's names, compliment them and show genuine interest.  Just simply be a good listener. The real secret to being liked is to ask open-ended questions, listen carefully to answers and take notes.  So improve your relationships and be liked by being a great listener, ask great questions, then summarize what you just heard. Follow this action for a closer relationship in those seeking your residual income opportunity.

Hi Alecia Great tip here. You cannot hide behind your computer and pretend to be a success. You need to take time and get to know the people you are working with. Everyone wants to talk to someone else. When you replace the me me me to what can I do to help you, you will find that developing the relationship is easier. Keep the great tips coming Terri Bork

Asking questions is the best. People love to talk about their favorite subject -- them!

Hi Alecia, Thanks for the reminder that this business is all about relationships. Many people have a tendency to forget this simple fact.
