When you were little and told everyone what you wanted to be “when you grow up,” you may not have thought about being a online business entrepreneur. Many people become network marketers to answer the “work place” problems. Sadly, 97% of them fail. Mainly due to ineffective marketing tactics. Such as passing out fliers, making out friends and family lists, and so on. The worst go broke trying to stay in business long enough to get residual income checks.
Industry experts like Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard came up with a new strategy for network marketers called attraction marketing. This is a smart marketing technique to attract a target group of people. Attraction marketing reverses the process of prospecting by having a target group chase the network marketer versus the network marketer chasing them.
Follow the three step process to attract highly qualified prospects and be a respected professional online entrepreneur.
1. Build a List
This “list” is your own customers, your own leads, and the people that are interested in what you have to offer. It’s important to have your own marketing system and auto responder that builds your list. You do not want to be marketing just your affiliate links that does not capture your prospects.
2. Build a Relationship with Your List
Go deeper into your list and search and get to know them on different social networks like Face Book, My Space, and Twitter. They, in turn will get to know you and more of what you offer through these social mediums.
3. Monetize Your List
This is where you can build cash flow while prospecting. Monetizing your list allows you to stay in business versus spending a lot of time with a prospect and/or down line with little or no compensation.
Understanding attraction marketing is only part of the equation. How can you implement it? Really one with no skills on the internet can have results and success. When I asked several of my online mentors what tips for starting a new business, the marketing strategy they started out with as a newbie in the industry was FORUM Marketing where they began to find success!
This was an incredible lesson, because I think too many of the online business entrepreneur really over-look this powerful strategy to generating leads and building your business.
And I think most newbies that get on Forums do it ALL wrong.

Small business tips for success depends far more than keeping in touch with your prospects. When it comes to marketing, it is extremely important not to drop a ball too soon!
Remember “the Rule of Seven” when trying to convert a lead into a sell. You should contact people at least seven times before they REALLY focus on your offer. Seven times before they decide to take action to buy anything from you. Of course, it does happen quite often that people decide sooner, but don’t bank on that.
The great news is that the Internet business model allows us to speed up the process. In the “traditional” model, it could be several days, quite often weeks. For example you send a flier, mail information package, call in a few days.
Now with the online business systems, you can have on your website special information just for those seriously interested prospects. With auto responders they can have content in SECONDS!
Following up personally within a few hours with an email directing them to specific information. It makes it easier when you follow up with a phone call, you feel like you already know each other.

Use tools for your twitter account to help you expand your home business opportunity to your advantage. Not only do people enjoy seeing what you do, they also enjoy seeing what you offer as a work from home entrepreneur.
Start by just getting an account at twitter.com. Go slow and have fun finding people to follow. You should always follow more people than following you. A good place to find people to follow you is in the twitter Facebook groups.
Here are some tools to try to work twitter to your advantage:

- tweetlater.com – Allows you to create a automated message to give when people follow you. Be sure not to spam them right away. Be nice and get to know people, by showing them your blog or show that you are on another social site like Facebook.

- ping.fm -Allows you to send tweets to other social networks like Facebook and MySpace.

Becoming a home based business entrepreneur, you have to learn how to keep your prospects following you and not just your e business opportunity. There are two problems when you just advertise your company. 
1. People see the company as the answer and not you. This can hurt you as an independent leader as an internet business entrepreneur and solutions provider.
2. This makes distributors nothing more than a “middle man.” It hurts your ability to build your OWN list of people who follow YOU!
Why is it important to brand yourself as a work from home entrepreneur?
You provide to others that you are the expert and show them solutions to build their business. You build your own list of customers and people that follow you. If something happens to happen to your company, you have people attached to you. Take them to another company you are passionate about and continue your success. When you do have followers on your list, you can earn multiple streams of income. You begin to provide more solutions to those people.

Setting up a new business requires a lot of planning. It is also because of the large range of choices that makes decision making difficult. We must realize that we might have to change our lifestyle, even give up things we enjoy doing before starting our new business. We will have to go through a lot of soul searching before we can even start sending the first introductory letter. And assuming that we have finally nailed down our choice, we will also need some useful tips for starting a new business.
Of course, you want your home business to succeed. Before anything else, you should discuss your plan with members of your family. Somehow, their lifestyle will be affected too, so it’s always best for them to be positive about your plans. Then, tackle legalities. All businesses need to be registered. You should make sure that all requirements are covered. Determine a specific location where you can set up a small office in your home or a rental space somewhere for your business. Furnish it with the right tools – a desk, computer and telephone will be very basic. Move on with your project slowly and before you realize it you will be on your way to a successful new business.
A working person who has a 9 to 5 job will always dream of working from home. It means time flexibility and being able to do things he likes to do. It means minimizing the expense and time spent commuting. But most of all, it means time with the family. How will he do it?
The time is ripe for anybody with the desire, drive and passion to be a work from home entrepreneur. With the wide availability of the internet, starting a business from home has never been easier. Like there are now many opportunities abound in the health and wellness industry. A relative of mine started a business marketing Xango products and is doing well. I have friends who started their home business from hobbies. It grew into a business that allowed them to quit their day jobs. It is an example of doing what you want and earning from it.

In order to master the skills of an online business entrepreneur, you must understand the changes need to take place in order to be successful. These living on the top, take responsibility to live in a way that are in some ways uncomfortable. They do things that some are not willing to do. Which means living outside the limits of one’s comfort zone.
For example, maybe you are not good on the computer. Embrace the learning curve and read, search and find video tutorial to help you learn what you are not comfortable doing. With the online business systems I offer, there is a video for each step. Step-by-step tutorial videos to set up the system and marketing tools used.
So change your philosophy to living uncomfortable so you can attain life that is truly comfortable as an online business entrepreneur.
